Which license for Kickstart 2.X.X should I purchase with my 6517B?

Kickstart – KICKSTARTFL-SUITE or KICKSTARTFL-SUITE-AN License

Gives access to the I-V Characterizer, DMM, Data Logger, Scope, and Power Supply applications in Kickstart.

- Allows you to use the DMM application with the 6517B, which supports:

• Voltage Measurement
• Current Measurement
• Resistance Measurement
• Charge Measurement

- Will support other instruments in kickstart that use the above-mentioned applications (I-V Characterizer, DMM, Data Logger, Scope, and Power Supply)

This would be a good option if you need to use the 6517B for general measurement and becomes more useful if you plan on using other supported instruments in Kickstart.

Kickstart – KICKSTARTFL-HRMA2 or KICKSTARTFL-HRMA2-AN License

Gives access to the High Resistivity Application in Kickstart, does not include the SUITE applications listed above.

- Allows you to use the Resistivity application in Kickstart, which supports:

• Volume Resistivity
• Surface Resistivity
• Resistance Measurement

- Will NOT support other instruments in KickStart

This is the best option if you plan on doing resistivity measurements with the 6517B.

For support with other instruments and support for general Electrometer measurements (V, I, Q), you will need to add the KICKSTARTFL-SUITE or KICKSTARTFL-SUITE-AN license as well.

An KICKSTARTFL-HRMA2 license can be paired with your KICKSTARTFL-SUITE license to add Resistivity measurement features, if needed.
