问题:
What does the "Threshold" parameter in the impedance profile (Z-line) computation in the IConnect software do?
答案:
It filters the noise to ensure stability of the Z-line algorithm. The desired noise threshold must be determined experimentally, and highly depends on accuracy and the noise level in the measurement itself. If noise threshold is set too low, the algorithm may "explode"; if set too high, it completely discards all the useful information in the measurement. If no level of noise threshold provides you with a reasonable impedance profile for the DUT, review your measurement procedure, and ensure that your measurement is repeatable and contains low amount of noise. Increase scope averaging if necessary.
