I have captured waveform data as .isf files. I want to know which software can convert .isf to .png or .jpg.

If the .isf file was captured on the DPO2000/MSO2000, DPO3000/MSO3000, DPO4000/MSO4000 series scope, you could open it with OpenChoice Desktop software. Or you could recall the waveform into the scope as a reference waveform, and then save on the scope as a graphic file.

If the file is from a TDS 3000 series scope, you can recall to the scope as above, or you can do a multi-step process as follows, using WAVESTAR software.

1. Open the WAVESTAR software.
2. Click FILE , Select NEW DATA SHEET, Select type YT.
3. Click File,, select IMPORT .isf and point to the file on the PC.
4. Set the scaling as desired in the YT sheet.
5. Click EDIT, select COPY .
6. Open a graphics editing software such as PAINT.
7. PASTE the copied screen shot into the graphics editor.
8. Save in the format desired to the file name of your choice.
