Do I need to send the INIT command to trigger the Model 2430 when using Pulse Mode?

Question : Do I need to send the INIT command to trigger the 2430 when using Pulse Mode?

Answer: When the Model 2430 is programmed for Pulse Mode over the bus (GPIB, RS-232), you do not need to send an :INIT command after turning the Output ON. When operating in pulse mode, sending the :OUTP ON command will also send the :INIT command to start the pulse process.

Sending an :INIT command following the :OUTP ON command will trigger the Pulse once again.
